The story of Ron Currier's Hilltop Chevrolet is an American dream come true. As a child, Ron loved cars and imagined himself one day owning an auto dealership of his own, and through hard work and perseverance he achieved that dream. Ron Currier's Hilltop Chevrolet opened in Somersworth, in 1980, on the corner of West High Street and Route 108. Through the years, he has built relationships with customers, not just focusing on the art of the sale. Ron treasurers that he has been known, to sell vehicles to generations of the same family. He has made many friends, worked hard and taken risks, surviving good times and bad. It is this personal plan and vision, that has sustained him, his family and employees, in a tough business. When Ron created Ron Currier's Hilltop Chevrolet, the area of West High Street and Route 108 was farmland, certainly not the booming business corridor it is today. But his visualization was strong and his loyalty to the Somersworth community, over the 45 years in business, has been constant. You couldn’t ask for a better Somersworth champion.

To know him, is to know that he is not the stereotypical car salesman. He is not loud or flashy, but instead pretty quiet. He is a man of integrity, and when he gives his word, it means something. In 2008-2009, during a particularly tumultuous time in the auto industry, he fought hard to stay afloat. Not one employee lost their job or was forced to take a pay cut. It was a matter of “personal pride” that he would take care of things and turn things around, which he did. He is an inspiration. Ron Currier is Hilltop Chevrolet!

In today’s world, not many people get up every day, loving the idea of going to work. But for Ron, it is his life’s work and dream come true, owning Ron Currier's Hilltop Chevrolet. It is who he is. The dealership has been good to him and to his family. Having daughter Kylie embracing the business, to some day make it her own, is another dream of Ron’s. Ron is blessed with a loving wife, 3 wonderful daughters, 3 great sons-in-law, and 10 adorable grandchildren to love and spoil. On the weekend, if he is not at Hilltop, he is probably attending one of the grandchildren’s games.
